Frame captures from Bride of the Fly
In 2008 I began work on my first movie in many years, a short sci-fi comedy titled Bride of the Fly, based loosely on the 1958 Fly with Vincent Price. I have some experience with puppetry, makeup and special effects, so my grainy little Super-8 movie is bursting with giant flies, spiders, freaky monsters and chainsaw-wielding maniacs. The talent and material support so many wonderful people donated to Bride of the Fly has made it one of the most rewarding projects I’ve ever been associated with.
I've begun the process of entering the short into film festivals- keep an eye out here for future screenings!
